Jeff Layton: One of our members gave us feedback on one of your courses that they were a bit frustrated with job postings and job boards. They felt that a lot of the material on there is recruiters putting job postings on there, and there was not real leads. Do you want to comment on that? Valerie Sutton: Yeah, I agree. I don't think you should spend a lot of time on job boards. Sometimes they are viable though, so you don't want to take them completely out of the mix. And depending on the type of career that you may have, they will be niche job boards. But like I said in the course, you should only be spending a small amount of time on job boards, and the majority of your time should be networking, because you're really looking for those employee referrals and unpublished positions. Jeff: So its people that'll help you find that next job more than job postings?
