Job rotation
- A few weeks ago, I went to a theme park with my family, and the first ride we went on was a little boat ride around the park. The poor guy who was announcing the different sites and attractions sounded so bored, I kind of felt sorry for him. I thought to myself, this guy needs a job rotation. I wanted to yell, "Switch!" in the middle of the ride. As you might have guessed, job rotation can be great for improving employee engagement and customer service, but there are other reasons to use it too, like ensuring more than one person knows how to do a job, or developing employees so they can move up and grow.
