Sometimes it's difficult to imagine project changes in the abstract. I've created a fictional project for this course. The fictional project is for a mobile application. Think of yourself as the only project manager, so your opinion has a lot of weight over whether to accept or reject changes. The mobile application has a small team of a dozen developers that all work for medium-sized organization. The entire team works in the same building at the same time. The project deliverable is an application that should run on Apple iOS devices.
Even though this is a software development project think of it as a traditional project that has upfront planning. The project will not be using the agile framework. Even though this is a fictional project, I will try to add challenges that you would likely see on a project this size.
Along the way, learn how to effectively manage your project for change requests and deal with common obstacles. Also see how to find the balance between too much and too little change—either can be threat to your project.
