- Imagine you are standing in front of a bridge and you need to get to the other side. And then, when you're in the middle, you realize there's only 90% of this bridge that has been completed. Well, the bridge is completely worthless. You'll never make it. Most business conversations are exactly like this. People engage because they want to get something done and they have broad discussions about what to do, what not to do and finally, well they make a decision. But decisions are worthless, like 90% of a bridge, if they don't have the last 10%, which is the commitment.
Unless people commit to do something specific at a certain time, the odds that something will end up happening are pretty low. So we're going to talk about what do you need to do to complete the bridge, to make sure that when you and your colleagues make decisions, these decisions turn into results.
