- So while you're getting some help, one question I want you to think about is finding your voice. So what do you want to sound like in the world? And you know, how can you align with what you are and who you are as a person? I think that alignment is really important. But what kind of voice do you want to have? Do you want to be irreverent? Do you want to be humorous? Do you want to be thought provoking? Think about this and think about this as part of your social strategy. You're going to be able to talk to people. You know, understand and have a conversation with them so that you can get a better idea of what you want to do, what you want to say and how you want to approach social media.
So when you're thinking about voice, I'd look at people that are doing a really good job on social. The gold standard has been Richard Branson for years. He's an amazing thought leader and I think that a person that a lot of people would aspire to be in terms of thought leadership and social. Take a look at what he's doing. Take a look at what Elon Musk is doing. He's creating great content, being an industry leader and thought leader. And this has really helped his brand across all of his different businesses. Meg Whitman, doing a great job with the brand there.
And I think there's a, the list goes on and on. You can really think about people that are engaging intelligently with their customers, that have nailed their voice and they continue to be consistent in that voice.
