- One really horrible boss that I had, we were in this factory, and we were making plastic trays for food to go in, like chicken Kievs and things like that, and we were running three shifts 'round the clock, 'cause we had extruders, and they take a long time to get up to temperature, so once you got them working on Monday morning, you don't wanna stop, you just run all week. So it was three shifts, and I had a shift manager on each of my three shifts. And one of them was old, but miserable. He was quite negative, "Oh, no, we've tried that before, "that won't work." But he was experienced, very knowledgeable guy. One of them was young, but very positive, up and coming. He didn't really know much yet, but he was shaping up to be good in the future. And then the third guy was in the middle, really. He was excellent, I mean, he was experienced, he was knowledgeable, he was enthusiastic, he was great.
