- Okay, so the next type of problem that you might get on your project is a quality problem. And, by this I mean, the customer being unhappy with what they get delivered at the end. The customer not receiving what they expected. And the way to avoid this problem is to very clearly define at the start what the customer's gonna get. As a project manager, you might be tempted to keep your project definition a little bit woolly so that you've got some room to maneuver. But actually if you do that, you'll find that the customer will probably complain at the end that it wasn't what they expected. So, it's very important to get everything really nailed down. Even quite intangible things, get them really nailed down. I'll give you an example. When I was having my website done, I just wanted a really good website. I didn't really know exactly what was gonna be included. And I went to see the web guys. And they asked me, "What I did I want it in?" Well, I said, "Well, what can I have?" And they…
