- Okay, so I've talked about stakeholders as being a big source of people problems in projects. But the other people involved in your project are your team, the people who work for you or with you on the project. And they can be a source of problems, as well, if they're not engaged with the project. So the key thing with them is to involve them as much as you can in your project. This will mean that they have more buy-in, but also you'll get a better result. Don't underestimate the people who work for you. I can remember years ago, the first ever management job I had, I had a guy called Keith who was given to me to help me. We were actually repairing helicopter rotor blades. And the main job we had was to get them through the factory and to push them through production, make sure that they reached the customer on time. And I was doing this on my own and this guy Keith arrived. And he was an ex-nightclub bouncer, so he was a huge, great guy with a broken nose, he was really scary. And…
