Join Doug Rose for an in-depth discussion in this video End the sprint in JIRA, part of Agile Project Management: Comparing Agile Tools.
- [Instructor] In our last video…we saw how to create epics…as a way to organize our user stories,…and we created a new epic called find local burs…and we have a few user stories underneath that epic,…as a way to sort of distinguish it as one big value bucket.…Now we're going to go through what it looks like…to complete a sprint,…but we have a little bit of a problem.…Our sprint is two weeks long.…Starts in June, ends in June 22nd.…And if we want our report to look good,…we're not going to want our sprint to end…after a few minutes…when we've given it two weeks to complete the work,…it's just going to have one tiny little dot…that's going to descend at the very beginning of the chart.…
So we're going to have to do a super-fast sprint.…So let's change our sprint from two weeks…to two minutes.…So, here we are, we'll change it to…roughly what time it is now, 4pm,…and now we're going to give ourselves a two minute sprint,…so let's go back…and we want to end our sprint two minutes from now,…so let's see, we'll go here, 4:02pm.…
