- So we've been talking about the way that digital is going to change the HR role inside the organization. Now we're going to think about how the employee expectations are changing in this new space. So we know that employees have a lot of choices. They can work in many different places and that the time that they spend at one organization is decreasing. They're going to go from job to job. So how do we keep them engaged, what are their expectations around what work will be like? Because we know we have an incentive and they have an incentive to stay as long as possible as long as work is rewarding to them. So what is it that employees really want out of their employers? Well we know that there are some hard factors like compensation and benefits. Those things have always been there.
