- [Narrator] Think about the last time you were in your favorite store. You probably noticed that a lot of stores feel really nice and maybe you couldn't put your finger on why exactly. The reason? Retail stores are really good at stimulating the senses. From the way they smell to lighting to sound, you get the idea. So where do you fit into that? Well, your appearance, you're part of the visual experience. So here are a few tips to make sure you show up and you look good. In retail, most businesses either have a uniform or at least some guidelines about what you should wear. Start there. Uniforms make it easy for customers to know who they can ask for help. - Excuse me - How can I help you? - [Narrator] So wear yours. And make sure it's clean and pressed and in good shape.
