- In team presentations, confidence and cohesiveness mean credibility. Even if you have to fake it, it's important to consider ways you can project team cohesion. So, let's consider measures you can take to show the audience your team is prepared, coordinated and in sync. For starters, get organized as a team. Assign roles so you know who is doing what. Having roles assigned means important responsibilities are covered, and each person knows what to do if plans have to change. You'll clearly demonstrate team cohesion, and credibility, when you all jump into action immediately, no side discussions or confused looks needed. So what are some roles to assign? An important and often overlooked one is the timekeeper. This person monitors presentation time usage during practice, looking at overall length and how long you spend on each topic. This person can also track time usage during the presentation and give cues, if things need to move along more quickly, or slowly, than originally…
