- Salespeople by nature are competitive people and that's a good thing. In order to close sales, we need to follow our sales process, work diligently, and strive to be the best to provide solutions for the buyers that we work with. Quite simply, we are driven to win and close sales. During the course of my career, I've had to sell against some companies with some great product and service offerings, along with salespeople who were as competitive as I am.
