So why is it important to celebrate success? I mentioned this earlier when we went over the tweak it practice, but I wanna come back to it because it's so important. I have found in my work that we tend to beat ourselves up when we don't get something done. And that can derail us. One of the lessons that the work life fit naturals taught me is that they celebrate what they do get done and they let go of what they don't get done. So let's say one week you pick 10 tweaks you're gonna make part of your work life fit for the next seven days, but you only get half of them done.
If you're like me before I learned this practice I would focus on the five I didn't get done and completely let go of the five I did accomplish. What the naturals taught me is that I need to focus on what I do achieve and let the rest go because I managed to get 50 percent more done than I would have had I not intentionally planned those tweaks in the first place. So celebrate success. It will help you feel better about everything you accomplished following the tweak it practice.
