- So many business deals and conversations in America are conducted over a meal. It's common to share a lunch or dinner to discuss a major project or opportunity. In fact with so much of our business culture revolving around the table, knowing proper etiquette is essential to getting the results you want. In this video we'll talk about some of the most common etiquette during business meals, both hosting them and attending them, so you'll be come confident and make the right impression. When you're hosting the meal, make sure to consider your guest's preferences. Find out if there are any dietary needs, and ask them if your choice of restaurant is okay. If you're not sure of their preference, it's best to match the formality of the restaurant to the level of the business being conducted or to the status of your guest.
