- Everyone's sense of humor is different because each of us has our own personality, perspective, and personal point-of-view about the world. In this movie I'm going to walk you through a reflective exercise by asking you a series of questions. You can follow along by downloading Humor Profile from the Exercise Files. You can answer with me as I go through the questions, pausing when you need to, or take time after the movie's over. To discover the genealogy of your sense of humor, let's get started. I recommend you write down the answers. What and who makes you laugh at work, at home, at other times? This investigation will highlight the situations and people who are energy givers to you. Who do you laugh at on TV, in books, cartoons, or at the movies? Do you know offhand where you could go in an emergency if you needed a laugh? Or would you have to search around?
