- Searching for personal meaning and purpose is just as important for older workers as it is for millennials. But with many of their life's challenges behind them, like establishing their career and raising a family, your older report may start to feel unsure or unclear as to why they're going to work every day. This is actually pretty common, but it's unfortunately another aspect of growing older that could cause your older report to pull back or become unfocused at work.
