- A few years ago, RAI made headlines by closing their stores on Black Friday. While other retailers were opening at midnight with huge sales, RAI gave their employees a fully paid day off and encouraged them to go explore the outdoors with their families. It was generous and it was a super smart business decision. Why, because when all of their employees are exploring the outdoors, they're using RAI equipment to do it.
