Adopting digital beliefs and practices

- One of the most important things in order to transform HR is to take a close look at your beliefs and your practices. Let's take a look at beliefs first. What are they? They are the things that we hold dear, the things that we believe that we can do, but also the things that we believe we can't do. So take, for example, a belief that says, I don't believe we can ever change anything around here. I don't believe that I, as an individual, can really make a suggestion and make any difference. These are beliefs that are holding us back. A belief that can move you forward are, I believe I'm empowered to have a voice, to say something. I believe that we can actually work faster, we can work in days and weeks instead of months and years. So one activity to do with your team is to go back and just sit down with your team and say, given these audacious, ambitious plans that we have for digital transformation, what are the beliefs that are holding us back?
