Very popular with makeup artists in Hollywood and elsewhere is the airbrush technique. It's fast and easy, and it provides very smooth coverage using very little product. The downside is that it will cost at least $200.00 or more to get started. And individual little bottle of makeup runs around $30.00. The most popular brands are. Dinair, Luminess, and Temptu. All of these units are essentially the same and all work the same way. The main difference will be in the liquid makeup you use, and you can get that from any number of places. The unit I'm using here is from Dinair. The airbrush system consists of a little air compressor that plugs into the wall and a tube that carries the air from the compressor to the stylus. You may have seen house painters using a spray gun; this is just a smaller version of that.
