Orienting the audience
- Now I'm going to describe some resources that you can build into your webinar presentation to help orient your audience. Orienting your audience to the tools and structure of your webinar will help your audience participate fully in your webinar and will limit any technical support issues. There are several pieces of information that are helpful to include at the beginning of your presentation to orient your audience to the webinar event. First I'll show you an interest slide. An interest slide is the slide that's showing when attendees log in and before the audio portion of the webinar has started. It should show the title and description of the webinar, along with the speaker names and the time that the webinar will start, along with the time zone. It let's people know that they're in the right place at the right time. This slide can be part of your presentation deck, or it can be in a separate slide deck.
