- In some ways a Solicited Internal Proposal…is easier to prepare than a solicited external one,…but in some ways it's more difficult.…First, how is it easier?…For one thing you don't need to research the company as much…because you're already privy to internal information,…because it's your company.…You may already know what has been tried,…what issues your company is dealing with,…and the person or the committee…that will be making the decision,…you may have even worked with some of the reviewers.…And an official RFP probably wasn't provided.…
You may have received an email…or been tasked with the project in a face-to-face meeting,…and you probably won't have to include as much information…or sections, such as your qualifications for example.…Also the fact that the company has asked you to submit,…or to be on a committee to submit the proposal…shows that it values your opinion.…That sounds good.…But now let's look at how it could be more difficult.…Maybe you think you know the company really well,…but have tunnel vision,…
