- So what's left? The final component of the proposal, the appendices. That supplemental material that may be of secondary interest to your reviewer or maybe items that the reviewer will definitely want to see, but not while reading the proposal. Yes, how you'll write it; every penny of the proposal's cost needs to be included, but that $23 postage cost is not of top interest in the middle of the proposal. Assume that the potential client will have limited time to review your proposal and is most interested, at least at first reading, of the main idea and the support. Once you have the reviewer's interest, then he or she will want to know more specific details. That's the purpose of the appendices. Let's look at some possible items to consider in no particular order. Did you mention in the qualifications section that your company's been honored by the Chamber of Commerce for service to the community?
