What are we going to test?

Before we are going to start building some 3D type inside After Effects, I want to talk about what we are going to test. The first is the After Effects 3D support. By that I mean how easy it is to take an existing After Effects 3D flat card composition, as I showed you before, and convert it to a real 3D extruded typography, keeping all the animation intact, including of course the expression, the camera, the light support. And hopefully the motion blur and the depth of feeling. The second is the design accuracy, and by that I mean, how close can we match it to the original Photoshop style frame design? Maybe we can improve it, by at least, we need to get it as close as possible to our style frame. The next item is the render quality. This means how well it will support internal shadows for example. Shading or external shadows, which means those shadows on the floor may be, if you want to add some materials, and so on. So in other words, I want to check the quality of the final…
