Create the explode shapes

The next step in our project is to rebuild the exploding shapes inside Cinema 4D Lite. Since the Cineware layer will exist as one layer inside After Effects project, we need to treat it as one 3D unified world. Therefore, we need to add all the extruded elements, including the spring animation, inside Cinema 4D. If you are working with the original Boom 1.C45, that was created in the first movie, then you can just continue to save it and it will update inside After Effects composition. In this case, I am working in an incremental number of this project named Cinewave 3, which has the latest stage from the previous movie. So, now let's choose the boom three layer here in after effects composition. And go to the edit menu and choose Edit original. This will fire cinema 4D, and we can continue to move forward. Now because Cinema 4D cannot read After Effects built-in shape layers, we need to import those vector files separately, and extrude them here. And this is what I am going to show…
