3D displacement mapping
In this movie, we'll continue to work on the appearance of the Shapeshifter AE layers, in order to match them as closely as possible to this style frame that we have over here. Now before doing so, I'm just going to rename this from base comp to shapeshifter 2. This is the stage that we are at. And let's move to the end of this composition. Where we can see all of our layers, and we can tell how they are responding to light and shadows. I'm going to select the Boom SS for Shapeshifter layer, and let's open up the 3D extrusion and give it a little bit more thickness. I'm going to say that 50, is more or less the amount that we need over here. Now, it's still doesn't exactly look right. Actually, the explosion is more or less in the same area, but I think that we need to take the layer itself, in terms of it's 3D transform. And maybe push it just towards us and touch. I'm not going to touch the scale over here, because we already connected it to the expression, and I don't want to mess…
