Using the exercise files

Exercise files are available to Premium Members of lynda.com. Simply download the exercise files to your computer and place them on the Desktop for ease of access. The exercise files are organized by chapter number. Whenever an exercise file is available for a video, you'll see a yellow overlay at the bottom of the screen that indicates the location and the name of the exercise file. In most cases, there is a starting state HTML file available to you in the exercise files, as well as a completed state file.

The completed state file is located inside the folder called Completed. In a few videos, I've given you some images to use. Drag these images to the IMG folder inside of your Bootstrap folder on the Desktop. You'll be creating this Bootstrap folder in the first few videos as you download Bootstrap and start working with it. Working with the exercise files can add great value to the training. However, if you don't have access to the exercise files, you can still follow along with the videos, often using your own files and have a fulfilling learning experience.
