- [Voiceover] Hey there. This is Ray Villalobos. And welcome to Bootstrap 3: Advanced Web Development. In this course, I'm going to show you how to create a website with Bootstrap from scratch, using the 3.0 version of the framework. I'll start by showing you how to plan your sites using Mine Maps. Then I'll show you how to use a rapid prototyping tool like Balsamic. Then we'll examine working with Heroku. I'm also going to show you how to download and install Bootstrap from Github's repository. I'll show you how you can use PHP's include command to break up your site into modules, making them easier to read and update.
I'll take you through adding different interactive features of Bootstrap, like carousels, modals, the scroll spy and a fixed component. And how to customize and control them, using JavaScript. Finally, I'll show you how to style the website using less and CodeKit. There's a lot to learn and a ton to cover. So, let's get started.
