Join Jan Kabili for an in-depth discussion in this video Adding text, part of Creating Photo Books with Blurb.
To add text to a page in Bookify, that page has to be styled with a page layout…that includes a text box.…You cannot add your own text box from scratch in Bookify.…So let's say I want to add a caption under this photo.…I'll click the Choose Layout icon under the page, and from the available layouts…I'll choose one that includes an area for a caption.…I am going to choose this one.…This line under the image container indicates a text box.…
So, I'll select that and that applies the page layout to this page, including the…area where it says Click to Add Text.…When I move my mouse over that area, I can see the outline of a text box.…To add text, I click inside the text box.…That brings up this toolbar with some type options.…I am going to start with the default, just typing what I want as the caption,…and then I'll style it. So I'll type "St.…Marks Square."…If I click outside the text box I can just leave it at that.…
But I think I'd like to change the font and maybe make the type a little bit…bigger so it's easier to read.…
