Setting the scale

- [Voiceover] In this next segment, we're gonna continue to work with the two drawings that we created in the last video segment, and we're gonna continue on by setting the scale for these drawings. So, let's start with the drawing we created for the tennis court modifications. I'm gonna zoom in, and notice that there's a scale bar that printed when we printed our Google Earth document. Now, I need a known distance between two points in order to calibrate the scale for this drawing. At first glimpse, it would look like I have that here with this scale bar, but you need to be careful when your print to PDFs from other programs, because what happens, and what happened here, is the scale bar stayed the same size while the software resized this image to fit on the width of the paper. So, this scale bar is no longer correct, and I know that because I know that the dimension between the outside tennis court markings is 40 feet. This says this is 20 feet, and it looks like this is way off…
