Learn how to schedule, moderate, and participate in meetings using BlueJeans Meetings, the popular videoconferencing tool.
- [Nick] Welcome to this course on BlueJeans, a system for video conferencing and online meetings. I'm Nick Brazzi. If your employer uses BlueJeans and has assigned an account to you or even if you don't have a BlueJeans account but you've been invited to join a BlueJeans meeting, then this course is for you. Just be aware this cover does not cover the administrator side of BlueJeans which is often left up to the IT department for your organization. We'll start by seeing how to sign into your BlueJeans account and get the software installed that you will need.
We'll see how BlueJeans users can start a meeting, then we'll look at how to join a BlueJeans meeting, whether you have your own BlueJeans account or you are a guest. Next, we'll talk about the extra options you have available during a video call, including disabling your camera and microphone, sending text-based chat messages, and recording a meeting. Then we'll talk about how to schedule meetings in advance, as well as how to integrate BlueJeans with your online calendar system so you can keep track of the meetings on your schedule.
So if you're planning to join some BlueJeans meetings or host meetings yourself, I hope you're ready to jump in. Let's get started.
