- [Instructor] This is one of my favorite features in Blender, the grease pencil. From 2D mark-up to quick animation, it's an incredibly versatile tool. And in this week's Tips, Tricks and Techniques, we're going to just brush the surface of its potential. Let's play around with it. First, hit X to get rid of this cube. And it doesn't actually matter what render you're using, so we're going to leave that alone. I'm going to go into camera view by hitting zero on the num pad, or you go View, Camera. And I'm just going to hold down the D button and drag with the left click on my mouse. And I'm going to make the letter D. Now if I come over here to grease pencil, you'll see a bunch of new options. And if I hit N, you'll also see some other options. Now let's make a new layer by clicking on this plus sign. And I'm going to make the letter A. Down here you'll see something called Grease Pencil Colors, I'm going to hit plus on that. I'm going to change the stroke to say green, and I'm going…
