- [Instructor] Have you ever wanted to measure something in Blender, or maybe find what angle it's at? Well, in this weeks Blenders tips, tricks and techniques, I'm gonna show you a couple of easy ways on how to do that. First, let's start by deleting this camera, and this lamp. Let's click on this cube here. I'm gonna hit one and five on my number pad, you can always go to view front and then view ortho if you do not have a num pad. Go into edit mode by hitting tab Z, and then hit B and just drag stuff. Make a shape, make any kind of shape that you want, just make a shape. All right, now once you're done with your shape, you can hit tab to get out of edit mode, and then hit space bar and then type in ruler, hit enter. Now you can left click and drag anywhere. If you want to you can hold down control to snap the second point to the geometry. And then if this point is a little far off, you can just click and drag it, and then hold down control to snap it to a point. Now the next cool…
