Setting up cameras

Now that we have all of our objects constructed, we can start to render our shot. So, we're going to start off with cameras. We're going to set up our camera. Then we're going to light the shot and render it. So, let's first off position our camera. Let's go into material mode here, so we can see what we have. And I'm basically just going to go ahead and roughly align this view port and then we can just do View > Align View > Align Active Camera to View. You can see how the camera kind of jumps in. So now this is going to be my camera view. But this scene really isn't the way that I want this, I'm going to do this for print ad. So, I want this to be an 8x10 aspect ratio. So, I'm going to go over to my render tab here, and right now it at HD. So, I'm going to just do 800 pixels in X and a 1000 pixels in Y. And that gives me the 8x10 aspect ratio. I can certainly increase or decrease these as I render, but let's just go ahead and get the camera in position here. Now, I'm also going to…
