- [David] CG sculpting hit the world by storm with the introduction of z-brush many years ago. But did you know that Blender has many similar sculpting tools? In this week's Tips, Tricks and Techniques we're going to talk about sculpting and play with some of it. Now it's really easy to access. All you need to do is go to Object Mode and switch it to Sculpt Mode and right away you'll see a brand new menu come up here. See that? It has a whole bunch of tools. Stroke, curve, dyntopo, and of course, a bunch of brushes you can play with. Now if you do nothing you'll see that it looks like our cube is unselected but it's actually definitely there. Let's turn up the strength, hold down that left mouse button, and just start playing around and you can see nothing's really happening. Well that's because our cube has not a ton of resolution. Now, of course, you could come over here and add a modifier and subdivide this thing like crazy to add a bunch of geometry but sculpt mode has a unique…
