- [Instructor] Blender's Compositor has a ton of features that most people may not even know about. In this week's Blender's Tips, Tricks, and Techniques, we're going to dive into it, and explore some of the cool things you can do with the Blender Compositor. Now the first thing you want to do is go ahead and render an image, and in this case, I'm using the Blender Suzanne Monkey, and the brand new shadow capture plane, and I'm using the front door from the previous video on camera tracking, right here. Now the first thing we need to do is actually add this background to our monkey, so let's go ahead and do that. In the node editor, you want to go ahead and add a movie clip. Now if you already have a movie clip in here, it will immediately pop up. If you're using an image, however, you can always just go to image, and in both cases, you can always just click the little Open button, and find the file if it doesn't automatically appear.
