Quick Fluid

Quick Fluid

- [Instructor] Making a fluid simulation inside of Blender is actually pretty straightforward and in this week's Blender's Tips, Tricks and Techniques, I'm going to show you how to make one with just a few clicks. First, to get started, let's come up here and go to Cycles Render and then let's look from the side just so we get a better view of things and let's find a better, more interesting shape, so let's X delete that cube and let's go ahead and add a monkey. Yeah, that looks pretty cool. Let's move our monkey up a little. There you go, so he's sitting right on the edge and then I'm going to hit space bar and type in Quick Fluid, enter. Right away you might see a little bit of gobbledygook happening here and on the left you'll see a whole bunch of options and for right now you can ignore those but in general they can help you start the simulation the moment you start the Quick Fluid, but don't worry, we'll do that in a second. Let's open this up over here and go to our Physics tab…
