- [Instructor] In this week's Blender's Tips, Tricks, and Techniques, we're going to fatten up your 3D models. Now what do I mean by that? Well let's just say you had a shape and you wanted to make it thicker, you wanted to make it thinner, how would you do that with 3D modeling? Well believe it or not, Blender offers a whole suite of tools to do that. Let me show you. Hit A twice to delete everything. Hit shift A and let's add something really thin like a circle. Now if we come over here and hit tab, I'm going to click on one of these edges and hit shift W. And that's going to give me a bend modifier which is super cool. We can kind of make a cool potato chip looking thing to keep on with our fattening idea. So let me shift W a little bit. Yeah it looks about like a potato chip, why not? All right, and now remember, bend is dependent on where your 3D cursor is. So if you had your 3D cursor in the middle, it's only going to bend that edge. So that's why I put my 3D cursor out to the…
