Making quick fur

- [David] In this week's Blender's Tips, Tricks, and Techniques, I'm going to show you how to quickly make fur on a monkey. Let me show you. First let's start by deleting this cube, coming up here, going to Cycles, hitting shift-A, adding the monkey, smoothing out this monkey, going to subdivision surfaces, zooming in, and finally hitting spacebar, quick fur. Boom, here you go, you now have a furry monkey. Now before you go any farther, there's a lot of options to explore. You can have really dense hair, really light fur. I recommend you pick whichever one works well with your system, you can also change the amount that you view, but be careful, anything over 10 to 15% will make your machine turn into a jet engine, so I'm going to set it to 10. And you can even play with length, which I'll leave to about 15 or so, just to give myself enough of a chia monkey.
