- [David] The newly released Blender 2.8 brings back the fun in 3D and 2D animation with a huge new array of tools and workflows that are easy to use. We'll cover the brand new interface inside of Blender and do a deep dive through the written from ground up, real-time rendering engine, EEVEE. Each chapter will go over topics like 3D scene creation, modeling, sculpting, texturing, creating animation rigs, 3D animation, simulations like fire and fluids, and even 2D animation. Plus, we'll go over how to render all of your artwork in a quick and easy way by utilizing either EEVEE or Cycles. If you've used Unity or Unreal before, the real-time rendering inside of Blender is going to be very familiar. If you've used 3D Studio Max, Maya, or Zbrush there's even a Blender industry standard key map that you can use, so you can quickly jump in. The versatility of this software is absolutely amazing. It allows you to create artwork for games, movies, and animation all within a single program. And incredibly, it's free to use. Hi there, my name is David Andrade, and today we're going to begin a brand new journey of creating art together. Are you excited? I am, let's get our journey started.
