Although we have in the previous chapter already performed the first cloth simulation of the course, we still, in this video want to run through the setup and creation of a basic cloth simulation in Blender. Simply because, there are one or two little extras that we want to point out in connection with the running of our cloth simulations. If I just hit the top key here to enter Edit mode, you can see, based on our findings from Chapter One, that we are making use of a quad subdivided mesh, that already has a cloth modifier applied to it. This time around however, we have added a pinning group to the set up, that is being used to create some very simple animation that helps us get a more curtain-like look from our geometry. As we will be taking a look at creating pinning groups later in the course, we don't really need to worry about how these are working right now. We just need to be aware that they're there.
