Evolving Eevee - Blender Tutorial
From the course: Blender 2.83 Essential Training
Evolving Eevee
- [Instructor] Let's talk about Eevee. It's an amazing new render inside of Blender that lets you create scenes with lights and shadows in real time. To enable it, let's go up to our render settings and make sure that Eevee is selected. Then, inside of Blender, just hit Shift+A and add a plane, and then come up here to the top right, and click on the Render Preview. Now right away, you're inside Eevee. In fact, if you use cycles and you don't have to do this, just follow along, when you switch to this material preview mode, you're also in Eevee. The only reason you don't see any lights is 'cause you're going to have to turn them on right here. But now let's just go back to Eevee and then click on our rendered mode. So there you have it, you're inside of Eevee and you're already making some pretty good looking stuff. Let's make the scene kind of interesting. I'm going to pull this cube up and hit RR and rotate it…
