- In this week's Blender's Tips, Tricks and Techniques we're going to talk about reflections inside of Eevee and a trick that you can use to get it to work a lot better. Now first we need a scene, we need an interesting scene so unfortunately we got to delete the cube. And I'm going to hit SHIFT+A and make a plane, 'S' to scale it up, SHIFT+A mesh UV Sphere hit TAB, CTRL+F shade smooth will make it nice and smooth. SHIFT+A one more time and go to monkey, and lets hit TAB, CTRL+F and shade smooth that monkey as well, move the monkey here, I'm going to go to material and open this up to get some real estate. Click 'New' and 'Base Color', I'm just going to make it interesting, red, we'll make it red. Now click on this Sphere, go to 'New' and we want to make this a mirror ball. So make 'Metallic' one, make 'Roughness' zero. Metallic will make it shiny, roughness will make sure that it isn't faded out, if you will. Come over here,…
