- [Instructor] Sometimes when you're working inside of Blender, you want to cut something out. Maybe it's a porthole, or you wanna go ahead and chop off a corner. But you want a really specific shape and it'll take too long to model it by hand. Well, Blender, like many 3D programs has the Boolean operation. And in this week's Blender's Tips, Tricks, and Techniques, I'm gonna show you two different ways it's implemented inside of Blender. First, let's clean up the scene by deleting the camera and the lamp. Let's click on this cube and zoom in. Let's go to Tab into edit mode and place our 3D cursor somewhere around the corner. It doesn't have to be right on it, just close enough. Hit Shift + A, and let's go ahead and add an icosphere. Now, without doing anything else, you can Spacebar and type in boolean and one of two things might happen, depending on where your icosphere is at.
