- Before we add thickness to this, lets bring back our character over here in the out liner, let's just un-hide the character collection. And with this we can begin to add thickness and fit it to the character. So let's select the character and turn the subdivision surface modifier back on. So the skin's a little smoother there. And then we can come in and do a little bit of adjusting on the actual cap. So it looks like we're intersecting with the face just a little bit here and we could maybe adjust a few of the points around here. But generally speaking, what we need to do, is add thickness and bring that in so it connects with the face or connects with the head. To do that, let's select an edge or the edge all the way around here and let's just extrude that edge and bring it in. If we tap into edit mode and go to edge mode with the two key, I'll press alt and click an edge here. And then let's press alt, shift and…
