- [Instructor] Compositing inside of Blender is incredibly straightforward and there's a ton of tools available at your disposal. In this video, I'm going to show you how to take a monkey from Blender and composite it onto some footage I shot outside here in Carpinteria. First, let's go ahead and delete this cube. Shift + A, and let's go ahead and add a monkey. I want to switch to cycles so I can get something pretty good and accurate. And I'm just going to put this light right about here. I'm going to go into camera view. Next I'm going to go and click on film. Come down to transparent. I don't have any transparent glass, but if I did, I'd want to check that on. And finally, I just want to go ahead and render this. Okay, now I have a rendered image. Close this out, and let's switch to compositing. And click on use nodes.
