In this week's Blenders tips and tricks, we're going to focus on how to make something very simple - a flag using cloth physics. Let's get started. First let's delete this cube. We don't need it so let's hit X. Zoom in a little bit and let's go to Mesh, Plane. Let's rotate this guy 90 degrees on the Y. Let's bring out our properties and I'm going to add a subdivision modifier and I'm going to make it, say, five.
