Toggling the Edit Mode

To see what your course looks like from a student point of view, access the course and then in the top right-hand corner, click the Edit mode switch off. To return to Instructor view, click the Edit mode switch back on. So, why would you want to do this? Well, one of the most common things that instructors wish they could do in Blackboard is to see what their courses look like from a student's point of view. The Edit mode switch in the top-right corner of your courses makes that possible, sort of. When you click the Edit mode switch off you're in a fake student mode. You're not seeing it as a particular student, but rather is a generic fake student. What you see on your screen is almost exactly what your students see, with the exception of the Course Management links in the bottom-left corner of the screen.
