Reusing questions

As you work with Blackboard tests more and more over the academic term, you're going to develop a pretty significant pool of test questions. And you may be interested in copying or reusing a question from an old test on a new one. The benefit of this is that you avoid the one and done scenario where a student takes a test and then immediately forgets everything they learned. The drawback of reusing questions, and it's a huge drawback, is that it increases the likelihood of student cheating. The more times students see the same questions the more likely they are to share those questions and answers with their peers. As we talked about in the beginning of this chapter technology cannot fix character. That's why I strongly advise against using Blackboard for high stakes tests.
