So far, everything we've talked about focused on you setting up your course, adding content, entering grades. What we haven't talked about yet is how you can use Blackboard to collect, grade and even return student's files and assignments and that's the topic of this chapter. To create an assignment in a Blackboard course, open your course. I"ve got my Educational Technology course open. Open one of your course's content areas on the course menu. In my course I have a content area conveniently named content. Your institution may use a different name and actually I recommend creating a separate content area named assignments. Just makes it easier for your students to find your assignments and tests. As we talked about back in the customizing your course site chapter.
